Hi it's Dougie and I just wanted to wish you all a wicked Christmas. You're gonna see a lot of us over the next year and each one of us will be keeping in touch as much as we can.

We shot our first video last week for our debut single 5 Colours In Her Hair which is coming out next year. We had such a laugh filming it, but it's really strange making a video for the first time - you feel kinda stupid to start with. The video was shot over 2 days in London and has lots of different scenes in it. Watch out for us.........

"SM:TV and CD:UK at the weekend were amazing! We couldn't stop grinning after the show. We got to meet the gorgeous Rachel Stevens in the studio and The Darkness too who were really cool and we got to meet some McFly fans face to face and got mobbed as we were leaving which was a really nice feeling."

Harry, Tom, Dougie & Danny joined in the fun on SM:TV and performed live for the first time on CD:UK on Saturday. Performing a track called 5 Colours In Her Hair, McFly were thrilled to be appearing on the show. Their debut single due for release early next year is already being tipped to be a smash and the band a definite "one to watch" for 2004. Expensive tastes!

Tom, Dougie, Harry & Danny have been splashing out on new instruments. Dougie got himself 2 new bass guitars - one blue & one pink!! Harry is beaming from ear to ear with his new drum kit (according to the owner of the shop where he bought it Harry has very expensive taste) while Tom and Danny both bought themselves shiny new guitars! Let's hope they don't go to rock n roll on us and start smashing them all up on stage! The boys have been busy doing lots of photoshoots recently and they were really excited when the got their first mention in Mizz magazine earlier this month!
