Mcfly dominated the T4 Smash Hits Poll Winners Party at the weekend scooping an amazing 5 awards! The boys couldn't believe it. Danny said "I'm still in shock...this year's been crazy! And what a crazy afternoon on Sunday it was - McFly won Smash Hits Star Of The Year, Best UK Band, Best Album, Best Video for That Girl and Most Fanciable Male going to Danny! The boys were quick to point out that their success is all down to you, the fans, and the support you have shown them this year has been fantastic.

Thanks to everyone who cast a vote for McFly, went to the show and cheered them on from your living rooms too!

Record of the Year 2004 - tune in and vote this weekend

The final countdown for the prestigious Record Of The Year title starts this weekend when we find out who's made it to the final 30 ! It's vital that you tune in!

Hopefully McFly will make it into the final 30 and then we need you all to start voting so they make it into the all important top 10.

The show which can be seen this Saturday on ITV1 at 2.55pm and on Sunday at 6pm. Make sure you tune in and vote for McFly - there's not much time though. Cat Deeley will announce the final 10 on the Paul O'Grady show on Monday.

The Record of the Year 2004 live final takes place live on Dec 4th.

McFly meet JoJo
News On: 4th November 2004

On their recent trip to Japan where they continued to promote their album, McFly were introduced to JoJo. The lads got on brilliantly with her and went out to dinner a couple of times. Meanwhile, performing at a media conference in Tokyo, Tom got so carried away at the end of 5 Colours In Her Hair that he fell over! The rest of the band were in stitches, but they managed to finish the performance.
