Edinburgh 50,000 the Final Push

Having returned from Japan where McFly
performed to the world in the first Live 8 show from Tokyo at the weekend, the boys are preparing for their next performance
at Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium on Wednesday.
Edinburgh 50,000: The Final Push will see some of the biggest names
in music come together to perform on the eve of the G8 summit - The leaders of the 8 most powerful countries are meeting Scotland
and the aim is to make the Make Poverty History campaign top of the agenda. They will be asked to:
1. double the aid
sent to the world's poorest countries,
2. fully cancel their debts,
3. change the trade laws so that they can build
their own future.
The show will be hosted by Lenny Henry and Peter Kaye and McFly will be joined by Annie Lennox,
Snow Patrol, Travis, The Sugababes, Ronan Keating, Beverly Knight, The Corrs, Natasha Bedingfield, Proclaimers, Texas, Youssou
N'Dour and of course Bob Geldof and Midge Ure.
